RootsTech 2024 is Here

RootsTech 2024 is here! The excitement is palpable in the Expo Hall as genealogists and family history enthusiasts from around the globe gather in Salt Lake City. Hosted by FamilySearch, RootsTech has grown to become the world’s largest family history conference, where innovation, technology, and the stories of our ancestors converge. This year, I am thrilled not only to be attending and volunteering at the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) booth in the Expo Hall but also to be contributing as a speaker.

My session on Friday will focus on uncovering the lives of our female Irish ancestors. The stories of resilient women who have navigated challenges and left a legacy are often untold. My presentation shines a light on their contributions, and I hope it will inspire attendees to discover those elusive Irish women in their own lines.

This event is an opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, genealogists, and enthusiasts. With hundreds of sessions ranging from beginner to advanced levels, there’s something for everyone. Learn new research strategies, hear about the latest in DNA technology, and gain insights into preserving your family history. The Expo Hall features the latest genealogical tools and technology.

Don’t forget to drop by the BCG Booth in the Expo Hall and say hello. I’m looking forward to meeting many of you, sharing stories, and learning from your experiences.
